Vengeance on Spain! Righteous fury! I can sympathize with his reasoning, though personally I don't feel that vengeance is worth the effort. But I'm a slacker, so precious little is worth the effort in my book. And if vengeance is all you can get, then why not go for it?

Just imagine what the world would be like if Spain was completely destroyed for crimes committed against another civilization. Surely the people of the remaining nations would be hesitant to support any large scale conflicts that would anger a god, even if the divine retribution might take a while? Though I suppose there are gods that encourage large scale conflicts, so perhaps their followers would become more willing to go to war and whatnot. So maybe it's a toss-up.
